ABOUT ME!
Ella Steer is an actress, singer, and dancer born and raised in San Francisco, California. She discovered her passion for performing at the age of seven, when she took her first theatre class with Musical Theatre Works in San Francisco, and went on to appear in junior productions of The Little Mermaid and An American in Paris. She began vocal training with Songbird Studios at nine years old and started tap dancing at Geary Dance Center at twelve.
For high school, Ella auditioned and was accepted into the Musical Theatre Department at the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, where she trained under Mathew Travisano and Laura Espino. She is now attending Tulane University in New Orleans, pursuing a BFA in Music with a concentration in Musical Theatre and a double major in Psychology.
As a highly sensitive and empathetic person, Ella brings emotional depth and authenticity to her work as a performer. At Tulane, she is also a member of the NJBeats A Cappella group. Outside of theatre, she loves thrifting everywhere she travels—especially at places like the Goodwill Bins, where she can hunt for unique and cool pieces—along with working out and learning new things.
